Staff You Can Trust

Dr. David Adamson

David Adamson, DC, is a skilled chiropractic physician and Co-founder of Kinexis Chiropractic in Bonita Springs, Florida, where he is also a doctor of chiropractic. Experiencing rapid growth since its founding in 2014, the practice was expanded to become Kinexis Healthcare.

Raised in Spokane, Washington, Dr. Adamson attended Whitworth University where he played NAIA Football for the Pirates and was a student athletic trainer for multiple sports. In 2001, Dr. Adamson opened and operated his first rehabilitation and fitness studio, and has worked with the Seattle Mariners and Seahawks associations.

In his 20 years in orthopedic outpatient care, Dr. Adamson has been recognized with multiple awards including: Best Clinic in the Seattle Area, Best of the Best For Physical Therapy, the Student Clinical Excellence Award at Chiro School, alongside a number of “Top Physical Therapist” and “Top Doctor” awards.

In 2010, Dr. Adamson returned to school to improve his treatment options to patients by attending Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, IA, where he was the recipient of the Clinical Excellence Award. He also carried out extensive spinal trauma advanced course work through Jacobs school of Medicine in New York at Buffalo, and is continually updating his skill set.

Dr. Adamson believes that there is more to chiropractic than the relief of headaches and back pain. His primary focus is the treatment of vertebral subluxation and the integrity of your nervous system, which controls every cell and tissue of your body.

Dr. Adamson addresses the entire spine through a few very specific protocols such as the upper cervical care of Blair, Gonstead, Diversified, Thompson, and Lumbar Flexion Distraction. Patients of Kinexis Chiropractic get a series of full spine digital X-rays taken on the initial visit along with the initial consultation. X-rays are analyzed for medical reasons and chiropractic line analysis of the spine. The X-ray line analysis results are consulted every treatment visit for continued precise chiropractic treatment.

Dr. Adamson loves providing care to his patients and takes a very active role in their overall health care. He enjoys spending time on the beach and in the water with his three sons. A multisport athlete through his early adult life, Dr. Adamson is currently a national and world champion powerlifter, and has been competing since the age of 16 years old. Dr. Adamson is very active in the community by providing care to area youth, high school, collegiate, professional, and recreational level athletes, for which he has been further recognized with various Leadership and Community Service awards.

Karen has been with Kinexis Chiropractic since July of 2020. A friend and colleague of Dr. Adamson since 2015, Karen walked in to join the gym and saw Doc who happened to be in search of a receptionist. Karen is your first smile over the phone or when you walk into our office.

Karen and her husband own a ballroom dance studio, in business for over 35 years, and teach professional and competitive ballroom. Prior to Covid, Karen also taught ballroom as a Teaching Artist for Dancing Classrooms in Lee County Schools. The studio, Aki’s Dance Studio, has survived the Covid shutdowns but Karen has found a second home at Kinexis!

If you are interested in learning to dance after your adjustment, call Karen or go to http://www.akisdance.com!
